all life as one that's how it should be
but sometimes i feel lonely inside
am i walking alone? or is there someone with me?
i believe in doing good wherever i can
i believe in doing good to animal and man

time ticks by faster the hour moves
life has many hurdles and distorted truths
do we just use god as an excuse to sin and make peace?
now the story's of old must hold some truth
but word for word they just can't be believed

i was told when i was young about my saviour
what he made for me, the sending of his son
but other lands too hold their own truth of long ago
it would be nice to know heaven awaits for sure
to be able to pass through those wondrous gates

i'm sick of waiting for the rapture to arrive
for the lords light to fill this earthly sky
will i be lead to the land above, or the land below?
where i'm headed i don't know for sure
will i be judged in the last shut of my eyes
