i once went to the queens for tea i had some cakes they were lovely all around, all that i saw smacked of total inequality servants for her every need a palace live in rent free priceless art in every room with all the money from me and you a prince and a princess might sound nice but it all comes at a price flag to wave and holiday won't make me forgot those who pay so count your pennies 1, 2, 3 send some to her majesty as she sits on a throne doing little but growing old so when i came back from the queens i had become a revolutionary from now i'll act for equality an extra penny for you and me nobody needs a house that big surely plenty need a place to live can't she open a door or two to the many who need a roof but i'm glad i went for tea at the queens it opened my mind to inequality although the world that i see still seems blinded by her royalty
6.

you might not believe in jesus or in a forever heaven above but no matter in what you believe spreading love's the thing to do carry yourself with dignity and pride look after your soul deep inside don't focus on a reward spreading love's the thing to do you might be a hindu and mormon, muslim or a jew but no matter what path you choose spreading love's the thing to do another's belief does you no harm there is no reason to doubt their heart as long as good is done that is true spreading love's the thing to do spreading love spreading love spreading love's the thing to do you might believe there's no afterlife and that science holds the key don't use that to be unkind spreading love's the thing to do there are many things to believe in what name good is done doesn't bother me we have to come together for peace spreading love's the thing to do spreading love spreading love spreading love's the thing to do spreading love spreading love spreading love's the thing to do
8.
a day always dawns i arrive before the sun i put on my old shoes and i walk away from you i'll take a memory of your smile a moment always passes grass is never forever green the sea will wash the land the trees never reach the sky i'll take a memory of your heart never is never arriving the word won't be written purpose is in the look of an eye you aren't by my side i'll take a memory of the words you said rain won't stop falling sunshine you shone on me your hand i wish i was holding now you're some place else i'll take a memory of a day with you
9.
hey, hey ain't she pretty in the moonlight standing looking pretty under the starlight i can wait to hold her hand so tight she's the only girl in my sights hey, hey ain't she pretty under the sunrise can't believe she's standing in front of my eyes the world spins as i realise she's the only girl in my sights hey, hey ain't she pretty in the morning waking today my heart is exploring the sight of her is never boring she's the only girl in my sights hey, hey ain't she pretty in the way she talks i'm much happier when by my side she walks i wasn't prepared for the shock she's the only girl in my sights she's the only girl in my sights she's the only girl in my sights

i know i can't hold a tune and i'll never get to the moon but one thing i'll try as the years go by is to leave a smile in every heart you never know what's down the road or which way the wind may blow a look into space, will confirm your place as a miracle that can create more there's so many things i've never seen many things that i wanted to be but i know who i am, i'm following my plan it will take me to wherever i go this song isn't about a lot but a song doesn't need a plot in the key of C or of D, it doesn't matter to me i'm just trying to enjoy every day i can i couldn't think of any more words so this song ends on this verse there's nothing left to say, at least not today this song will end right about now

come to the land of celtic past where painters paint natures rhyme and listen to the sea sing for rosemary daylight shadows the homes on the crooked streets i ramble and roam and i listen to the sea sing for rosemary a plea is sung to the timeless waves the poem is alive, like the heart inside and listen to the sea sing for rosemary hear the birds call from the trees hear the gentle whisper of the breeze and hear the sea sing for rosemary
