From Nowhere To Here

i'm singing to the flowers as i wile away the hours and on a sunny day my troubles melt away but come rain or shine i know it'll be just fine just as the wheel goes round and the river rolls on by the earth is a temporary place floating in a wondrous space but one day my soul will go and begin it's journey home from nowhere to here feelings come and disappear i was born and i'll i die going home to the sky like a shooting star you could travel so far but soon you'll be part of the sky part of all in the blink of an eye i'll carry on down the road where it leads nobody knows i'll dance to my own tune while i'm here under the moon one day i'll head to the stars of all i will be a part but i don't want you to cry i'm going home to the sky

To Be Free 03:05
i've been looking for answers in poetry and hazy dreams hunting for freedom from the illusion surrounding me the sun gives me the hours which i can ramble and roam the moon gives me it's time where my soul is my own for my life's here in the moment the only time i have is that i see nobody holds the answer so just let it be all truths i thought i'd found became a collection of lies people preaching paradise with a voice longing to cry i won't play the game shown to me life can't be lost or won the only thing to really fight for is the freedom of everyone for my life's here in the moment the only time i have is that i see nobody holds the answer so just let it be for my life's here in the moment the only time i have is that i see nobody holds the answer so just let it be

the days in shutdown the nights forever lasting no one has a clue if love is love and if it is the cause of all their blues because of you, look just what you do it's all happening now because of you the church stands empty god's window is closed no one has a clue if god is good or if he is the saviour of their soul because of you, look just what you do it's all happening now because of you the executioners waiting there's a tower built to heaven and no one has a clue if good or bad can be separated by law because of you, look just what you do it's all happening now because of you the pied piper plays a song he casts a magic spell no one has a clue if following a leader or standing their ground is the thing to do because of you, look just what you do it's all happening now because of you
4.
if i wrote you a song would you love me forever? if i gave you my time would love me in timeless hours? if i gave you a flower would you promise to be true? if i gave you my heart would you give me yours too? if i drew you a rainbow would you show me the colour of your soul? if i waited forever would our love survive a spell? if i wrote you a poem would you radiate the truth? if i gave you my heart would you give me yours too? if i wrote you a melody would you move to it's tune? if i gave you the sun would you give me the moon? if i held your hand would you forever be by my side? if i gave you my heart would you give me yours too? if i wrote you a song would you love me forever? if i gave you my time would love me in timeless hours? if i gave you a flower would you promise to be true? if i gave you my heart would you give me yours too?

i'm feeling lost in this world, i'm on the lost highway it was clear that i wanted you but your love pushed me further away am i on a slippery slope or a path to a higher ground? i'm walking the same old road wearing my old shoes down when i open the book, to find what page i'm on you'll notice i face the devil and all his tempting sins but the blues never got me down i'm plagued by distant thoughts, the kind no man wants to think distant shadows and waiting moon give me all the time to waste i reach into my back pocket as i stroll from village to town i pull out all i have, i throw it to the ground i need nothing at all, just some peace of mind i will plant a flower, what happens is down to time but the blues never got me down the world everyone claims is round but i'm walking in a straight line i've been shown the truth so much but it all just seems a lie i was born in the land of the free but i'm watched both night and day shadows are creeping up, where are you tonight? it can't be wrong to believe in love anymore when the thunder claps, i'll embrace the rain when it pours but the blues never got me down i find it no trouble to keep on keeping on when i go on my way, i'll only break the truer hearts sometimes i find it hard, to tell one day from the next i'm happy to watch the wheels go by i have no place to be the world seems in such a hurry to empty out it's soul i've crossed many bridges and the crossroads are ahead but the blues never got me down the sun was shining brightly, felt like i was walking to heaven i dunno if they'd let me in, i'm sure to have committed a sin i feel like boarding the next train, follow the night to where it goes someday baby, you'll forget what you don't yet know and i have had enough of this, it's all i can endure i don't envisage god solving all the problems down here but the blues never got me down the clock tower in my town slowly takes my days away only the gods can see the steps i've taken in this land i look out upon silver waves and wonder on tales of old a slow wind blowing through the streets keeps my mind awake i've got such a deep attachment to such a simple world a yellow magic sugarcube drives me out my mind but the blues never got me down but the blues never got me down but the blues never got me down

i took a walk by the river, i took a walk under the sky both were born before me in the time before mankind i wondered how many people had seen these sights how many rivers followed how many prayers to the sky as i carried on my way under the dawn of the day i heard birds singing, how many have sang the song the wind whistled by as my footsteps echoed behind just how many footsteps does it take to make a life and i made it to the sea and i looked out at the waves the never-ending ocean brought me a calmness inside i understood that all must pass and that's how it's meant to be so let's celebrate the days as they roll on by the rolling days, the rolling days keep on rolling, rolling away the rolling days, the rolling days keep on rolling, rolling away the rolling days, the rolling days keep on rolling, rolling away the rolling days, the rolling days keep on rolling, rolling away
7.
i know my soul is here placed between love and fear heading to the unseen and unknown but lord give me one more day i don't want to rewind the years all journeys lead to here i'm not asking to drink from the grail but lord give me one more day lord give me one more day i'm not ready to be taken away lord shine your light on me lord give me one more day before i embrace my eternal fate let me once more see the dawn and hear the wind upon the land oh lord give me one more day let me say a heartfelt goodbye to all i've known in this life i don't care if there's sunshine or rain but lord give me one more day lord give me one more day i'm not ready to be taken away lord shine your light on me lord give me one more day lord give me one more day lord give me one more day lord give me one more day lord give me one more day

gonna tell her that i love her gonna tell her i need her today gonna tell her i want her by my side and for her i'll make a better day i always look forward to seeing her i can never wait to catch her eye i want to walk hand in hand with her and leave the whole world behind wherever i go i think about her i hear her spirit blowing on the wind when i'm alone i remember her smile and for her i'll lay down my heart
